1. Overview
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website www.bbatchig.com and all related content, features, products and services (the “Services”) operated by BATCHIG, a French company registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 940 895 733, with its registered office at 39 rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie, 75004 Paris, France (“Batchig”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, all purchases made through the website are concluded directly with Batchig.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy [LINK]. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.


2. Eligibility and Account
You represent that you are at least eighteen (18) years old or the legal age of majority in your country of residence.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when placing an order or creating an account, and to update such information as necessary.

3. Products
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, visuals and information are accurate. However:

  • Slight variations in color, texture, finish or appearance may occur, particularly due to the artisanal, natural or material characteristics of certain components.

4. Orders and Acceptance
By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected products.
An order is only considered accepted once you receive an order confirmation email from Batchig. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability.
Once an order has been confirmed, cancellation may not be possible.
Purchases are intended for personal, non-commercial use only. Resale without prior written authorization is prohibited.


5. Prices and Payment
All prices are indicated in the applicable currency and include VAT where required by law, unless otherwise stated.
Shipping costs, customs duties, and import taxes (if applicable) are indicated at checkout and remain the responsibility of the customer unless expressly stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to modify prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the one displayed at the time of purchase.
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and that all payment information is accurate.


6. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery times are provided for information purposes only and are not guaranteed.
Risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you upon delivery to the address specified in your order.
Batchig shall not be liable for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.


7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have a statutory right of withdrawal within fourteen (14) days from delivery, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Returns are governed by our Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights applicable under your local law.


8. Intellectual Property
All content available through the Services - including but not limited to trademarks, logos, text, visuals, graphics, product names, designs and layout - is the exclusive property of Batchig or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Any reproduction, distribution, modification or commercial exploitation without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.


9. Third-Party Services and Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify. While Shopify enables the technical operation of the Services, all sales transactions are concluded directly between you and Batchig.
Batchig may provide access to third-party tools or links. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services or content.


10. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Because the Services are hosted by Shopify, certain data may also be processed by Shopify in accordance with its own privacy policy.


11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Batchig shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive or special damages arising from your use of the Services or products purchased through the Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability:

  • for death or personal injury caused by negligence,
  • for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation,
  • or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.


12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Batchig from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or violation of applicable law.


13. Force Majeure
Batchig shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, governmental actions, or supply chain disruptions.


14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.


15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with French law.
In the event of a dispute, and subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions, the competent courts of Paris, France shall have jurisdiction.
Consumers located in the European Union may also rely on mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.


16. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Terms of sale

1. Order
A sale is deemed concluded once your payment has been successfully processed and you have received an order confirmation email from us. The confirmation email formalizes our acceptance of your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of anomaly, suspected fraud, dispute relating to the payment of a previous order, product unavailability, or manifest error in the price or product description.


2. Cancellation Before Shipment
You may request cancellation of your order before it has been dispatched by contacting us at hello@bbatchig.com.
If the order has not yet been shipped, we will cancel the order and issue a refund to the original payment method.
Once the order has been dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible. You may then exercise your statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with our Return Policy.
Batchig reserves the right to verify the shipment status before processing any cancellation request.


3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include VAT for orders delivered within the European Union, unless otherwise stated.
Prices do not include shipping costs, customs duties, or taxes that may be applied by the destination country outside the European Union.
Batchig reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the one in effect at the time of purchase.


4. Payment
Payment is made online via a secure payment processor. We accept: Shop Pay, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay and Klarna (subject to availability in your country).
Your card or account will be charged either at the time of order or upon shipment, depending on the payment method selected.
You represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and that all payment information provided is accurate and complete.


5. Availability
Products are offered subject to availability.
If a product becomes unavailable after your order has been confirmed, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer either:
- a refund of the price paid for the unavailable product; or
- an alternative product of equivalent value, subject to your prior agreement.


6. Transfer of Risk
The risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery of the products to you or to the person you have designated to receive them.
If you choose a carrier other than those proposed by us, the risk may pass to you when the products are handed over to that carrier.


7. Conformity and Statutory Warranties
The products benefit from the statutory conformity warranty and the warranty against hidden defects, as provided by applicable consumer law.
In particular, for consumers within the European Union, you benefit from a legal conformity warranty for a period of two (2) years from delivery.
In accordance with applicable law, any lack of conformity appearing within two (2) years from delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, unless proven otherwise.
In case of lack of conformity, you are entitled to have the product repaired or replaced, or, failing that, to a price reduction or rescission of the contract, under the conditions set out by law.
These statutory warranties apply independently of any commercial warranty that may be offered.
If you consider that a product is not in conformity or is affected by a hidden defect, please contact us at hello@bbatchig.com so that we can assess the situation and, where appropriate, repair or replace the product, or offer a refund or price reduction in accordance with applicable law.


8. Shipping and Delivery
We deliver to the countries indicated on the website at checkout.
Available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and shipping costs are specified during the order process and confirmed in your order confirmation email.
Delivery times are indicative only and may vary depending on the carrier, destination, customs procedures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
The products will be delivered to the delivery address you indicated when placing your order.


9. Returns
The conditions, time limits and procedures for returning products, including the exercise of your statutory right of withdrawal where applicable, are described in our Return Policy, which forms an integral part of these Conditions of Sale.
Return shipping costs are governed by our Return Policy.


10. Disclaimer
Product photographs and visuals are provided for illustrative purposes only.
While we make every effort to ensure that images and descriptions are accurate, minor variations in color, texture, material or packaging may occur and do not constitute a lack of conformity within the meaning of applicable consumer law.


11. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure as defined by applicable law and case law (including, but not limited to, strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, governmental actions, or failures of third-party providers), our obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the event.
Batchig shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from such event.


12. Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer within the meaning of European Union law and your order is delivered within the European Union, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of fourteen (14) days from the day after you receive the products, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw before the expiry of the withdrawal period, for example by email at hello@bbatchig.com. You may, but are not required to, use any model withdrawal form provided in our Return Policy.
You must return the products without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen (14) days after notifying us of your decision to withdraw.
Products must be returned unused and in their original packaging, subject to handling necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
We will refund all payments received for the products concerned, including standard delivery costs, within fourteen (14) days from the date we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold the refund until we have received the products or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.
Certain products that have been unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons (for example, opened solid perfumes) may not be eligible for withdrawal in accordance with applicable law. Any such exception is detailed in our Return Policy.


13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Conditions of Sale and any dispute arising out of or in connection with the sale of the products are governed by French law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply in your country of residence.
In the absence of an amicable solution, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
Consumers residing in the European Union may also bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.

Shipping policy

1. Shipping Destinations
Batchig currently ships to the following destinations:

Europe:
France, European Union member states, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway.
Americas:
United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay.
Asia-Pacific:
Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong SAR, Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia.
Middle East:
United Arab Emirates, Israel.

If your country is not listed above, we are unfortunately unable to process your order at this time.
Batchig reserves the right to update the list of shipping destinations at any time.


2. Order Processing
Orders are processed within one (1) to three (3) business days following order confirmation, excluding exceptional periods (product launches, pre-orders, peak activity).
Business days exclude weekends and French public holidays.


3. Estimated Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • France: 2–4 business days
  • European Union: 3–7 business days
  • International (outside the EU): 5–12 business days

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

During pre-order periods, delivery timelines may be extended beyond the above estimates due to production or logistical constraints. Estimated shipping dates for pre-order items are indicative only and do not constitute a guaranteed delivery commitment.


4. Carriers
Shipments are handled by one of the following carriers, depending on destination and the shipping option selected at checkout:

  • Colissimo
  • Chronopost
  • Mondial Relay
  • MyDelivengo
  • DHL

Carrier selection may vary depending on the country of delivery and logistical considerations.


5. Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • package weight
  • delivery destination
  • selected shipping method

Batchig reserves the right to modify shipping rates at any time.


6. Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email including a tracking number.
Customers are responsible for monitoring the tracking information provided.


7. Duties, Taxes and Customs
For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or administrative fees may apply.
Such charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping fees unless expressly stated.
Batchig is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance procedures.


8. Incorrect Address or Undeliverable Parcels
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.
If a parcel is returned to Batchig due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect the parcel within the carrier’s timeframe:

  • the order may be reshipped at the customer’s expense; or
  • a refund may be issued excluding the original shipping costs.


9. Lost or Damaged Parcels
In the event of a lost or damaged parcel, customers must contact hello@bbatchig.com within seven (7) days of the expected or confirmed delivery date.
Supporting documentation may be required, including photographs of the parcel and its contents.
Batchig reserves the right to initiate an investigation with the carrier before issuing any replacement or refund.
If carrier liability is confirmed, Batchig will offer an appropriate replacement or refund.

Return and refund policy

1. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, customers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within fourteen (14) days from the date of delivery, without providing any reason.
To exercise this right, customers must notify Batchig within the 14-day period by email at: hello@bbatchig.com.


2. Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return and refund, the following conditions must be strictly met:

  • The product must be returned within fourteen (14) days of delivery.
  • The product must be unused.
  • The product must remain unopened and in its original sealed packaging.
  • The product must be returned in its original condition, with all components included.
  • Proof of purchase must be provided.

For hygiene and health protection reasons, any product that has been opened, unsealed, or used cannot be returned or refunded.
Returns sent without prior written approval from Batchig will not be accepted.


3. Return Procedure
To initiate a return, customers must contact hello@bbatchig.com within fourteen (14) days of receiving the order.
Upon validation of the request, Batchig will provide the return address and detailed instructions.
If the return is approved, Batchig will cover the return shipping costs by providing a prepaid return label.


4. Damaged or Incorrect Products
Customers must inspect their order upon receipt. In the event of a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, customers must contact hello@bbatchig.com without undue delay and provide relevant details and photographic evidence where applicable.
If the claim is validated, Batchig will offer an appropriate solution (replacement or refund).


5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:

  • Products that have been opened or unsealed;
  • Used products;
  • Gift cards.


6. Refunds
Once the returned product has been received and inspected, Batchig will notify the customer of the approval or rejection of the refund.
If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method within ten (10) business days.
Bank processing times may vary. If more than fifteen (15) business days have passed since approval of the refund, customers should contact hello@bbatchig.com.

Pre-order cancellation policy

1. Scope
Certain products may be offered on a pre-order basis. A pre-order allows customers to reserve a product prior to its availability in stock or official release date.
Pre-order items are clearly identified as such on the product page.


2. Payment
For all pre-orders, full payment is collected at the time the order is placed.
By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • the product is not yet available for immediate shipment;
  • production, sourcing, or logistical timelines may be subject to change;
  • estimated shipping dates are indicative only and do not constitute a guaranteed delivery commitment.


3. Statutory Right of Withdrawal Prior to Shipment
Before the pre-order has been dispatched, you may exercise your statutory right of withdrawal by contacting us at hello@bbatchig.com.
Upon valid exercise of this right prior to shipment, the order will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Batchig reserves the right to verify the status of the order before processing any cancellation request.


4. After Shipment
Once the pre-order has been dispatched, it may no longer be cancelled.
However, you retain any statutory rights applicable in your country of residence, including the right of withdrawal where applicable, as described in our Return Policy.


5. Mixed Orders
If an order contains both in-stock items and pre-order items, Batchig reserves the right to ship the order in a single shipment once all items become available, unless otherwise expressly stated at checkout.
In such cases, cancellation of the pre-order item may require cancellation of the entire order prior to shipment.


6. Limited Production
Certain pre-order items may be produced in limited quantities or as part of a specific production batch.
In the event that production constraints or unforeseen circumstances affect availability, Batchig reserves the right to cancel the pre-order and issue a full refund.
Batchig shall not be held liable for delays resulting from manufacturing constraints, supplier delays, transportation disruptions, customs procedures, force majeure events, or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
